• The candidate have a Masters Degree in Education/Applied Linguistics/PhD/EdD, with mastery in the following areas: TESOL/TEFL, Curriculum Design and Materials Development, Teaching Methodology, Bilingualism, ICT in Language Teaching, Language Testing & Assessment. 
• Candidates should have at least two years' experience in teaching a second or foreign language at school or university level and at least four years in teacher training. 
• Some work experience in managing academic affairs and/or language programs would be an advantage. 
  
• Candidates’ exposure to courses such as EAP/IAP/Bridging Program and the ability to adopt the experience into the programs run by the English Department is also highly sought for.
• The candidate is also expected to have the experience in working with Non-Native English Teachers/Learners, e.g., from China and Vietnam, and be aware of their common problems in learning English.

The candidate will teach English Units (within the contexts of General-Professional-Academic Communications) to students from the 16 Undergraduate Programs in President University.
